Have your eye on something new? Let us take the hassle out of selling your current equipment. Skip the tire kickers, scammers, and endless messages. Trade your equipment toward an upgrade and let us handle the rest.
How It Works
1. Contact Us
Reach out by phone, email, or message and tell us about the equipment you’d like to trade.
We accept most night vision, thermal, and laser devices in new, used, fair, or serviceable condition. Please provide any available information about the equipment’s history, including:
- Original retailer or builder
- Approximate purchase date
- Whether it was purchased second-hand
- Any known issues or repairs
We’ll also request photos, a short function video, and any available specification sheets or data sheets.
Based on the information provided, we can typically give a rough trade-in estimate. Final trade-in values cannot be determined until the equipment has been received, inspected, and tested in person.
2. Ship Your Equipment
Carefully package your equipment and ship it using your preferred carrier. We strongly recommend purchasing adequate insurance and requesting Signature Confirmation to ensure secure delivery.

Please include your name, phone number, email address, and a brief description of the equipment inside the package.
Tech Savvy Optics is not responsible for loss or damage occurring during transit to our facility.
We only accept equipment shipped from within the United States. Any items shipped from outside the U.S. will be refused.
All applicable ITAR regulations apply.
3. Receive Your Trade-In Offer
Once received, your equipment will be inspected, tested, and evaluated. Most trade-in quotes are provided within 2–3 business days.
Trade-in values are based on current market conditions, cosmetic condition, functionality, included accessories, inspection results, and any repairs that may be required.
If you accept the offer, we will issue a trade-in credit code that can be applied toward a purchase through Tech Savvy Optics.
Trade-in credits have no cash value and may only be applied toward qualifying purchases from Tech Savvy Optics.
If you decline the offer, your equipment will be returned fully insured via UPS Ground.
